Helping you choose the right coach
Helen is known for helping high-potential professionals break through their self-imposed limitations and getting them ready for their next career move and/or leadership role. She does this by taking a holistic view of their work and life. That being said, choosing the right coach is all about fit. Below you will find a list of what to consider and testimonials for Helen’s work before choosing to be coached by her.
A coaching relationship is teamwork. Together, you and your coach are on a united and empowering mission to help you:
- Discover who you are at your core
- Emotionally process all that you need to
- Get out of your own way
- Take action steps that will move you forward
- Express your full potential on a daily basis for the rest of your life
Imagine waking up each morning knowing you are on this empowering journey. Choosing your coach then is serious business. Here is a short list of important selection criteria to consider:
- Chemistry-do you click with your coach?
- Certification-is your coach certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF) or a school accredited by the ICF?
- Experience-does your coach have relevant experience to bring to your coaching?
Chemistry is important because you want to be comfortable opening up with your coach. A certified coach is one that has acquired the skills to empower you to move your life forward in the direction you want it to go. Coaching is not advice giving nor therapy. While brainstorming forms a part of the process, and your coach may suggest ideas, solutions, and perspectives based on his/her experience, you are held accountable to decide which of these you will incorporate into your action plan.
What your coach will be looking for in you
- Your readiness to open up and dig deep
- Your commitment to follow through
